Lynn and I have been working hard getting you all organized and appreciate your patience with the missing links and what not. Please do not hesitate to speak up if you do not see your link on either list. However, we are not sure if we are able to fix the issue with the RSS feed, but we are working on it. Btw, if anyone knows how to fix this problem, please don't hesitate to let us know. (Apparently for some blog links, it's not working properly for updates and/or the main link.)
Our goal is that by this weekend, we will have them all worked out and we will have a new special feature with our challenge this time around! This blog is a great central place for information, results, and other fun stuff to come, but what we're getting ready to do is provide a message forum for BLBE for all of us to go to for general conversations, a place to go to for help, encouragement, arse kicks when needed and when you need a question answered. In addition to checking up on our personal blogs, this will be a great place to go for general meeting places for conversation rather than back and forth comments on each others blogs which is still encouraged, but not always an efficient way to communicate. We will set up various forum topics as well as teams etc. If you have any forum topic suggestions as we go along, please do not hestitate to speak up :-)
Teams & Weigh-ins:
As far as reporting WI's go. In addition to the links on the side of the blog, we will post an "official" list of the teams that's easy to see to ensure that no one is missed. For weigh-in reports, I would ask my team members to email me at the regular firstname.lastname@example.org address and for Lynn's team members, please email her at email@example.com as well as if you have any questions.
By the way, in case any of you are wondering, it was mainly a blind team split where we only looked at starting weights and tried to even up the teams so that each team had people with roughly the same starting weights and each team had roughly the same balance of starting weights. There are a few non-bloggers who we will post a link to at the side of the blog with their email address so you guys can contact them and see how they are doing.
We have collected your start weight information and you all will have weighed in this week or will weigh in. We won't be asking for that result this week. That's okay because for our first "official Week 1," we will be asking for this to begin as of this Sunday (or whenever your weekly WI day is next week). So if you WI on Mondays for example, this coming Monday please report your new weight since you have reported your start weight. This effectively will be two weeks' worth of WI's to start off, but will still be our "Week 1" results. This will be a relief for some of you I'm sure (;-P) and for others it will be a nice big result to boost the beginning of the challenge! (:-D)
Does that make sense? So in other words, please begin reporting your WI's on the day you weigh in, to your team leader starting this Sunday (if that is your WI day).
